ABOUT ME

I grew up in Wisconsin, went to school in New Jersey, then moved to Costa Rica, where I began teaching English. I have been teaching English and/or working for non-profits in various countries since I graduated college. I thrive off growing and learning by challenging myself and knowing that I'm working for something I believe in that hopefully makes some sort of difference, however small, in peoples lives.
I am an optimistic, energetic people-person. I don't drink, smoke or do drugs of any sort, but you wouldn't guess that by my extroverted nature. I love getting to know people of cultures different from my own and learning from each person's beautiful uniqueness.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have unfortunately not been able to host much since most of the time I rent out a room in someone else's house. More of my experience has been with awesome CS hosts I've met on my travels.

I've met some really cool people through couchsurfing, and I hope to meet more!

Interessen

I love dancing, listening to music, reading, playing guitar, exploring new territories, eating, laughing, playing nerdy word games, and just hanging out with people talking and enjoying each moment wherever I am.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I like to laugh, smile and enjoy life, so I love comedies in both movie and book form. I also like inspirational literature (and music) because I strive to constantly improve myself and my understanding of people and myself. When it comes to music, my tastes are varied and sometimes just dependent on my mood. I like a lot of acoustic versions of songs, fun music I can dance to, R&B and many other genres... I LOVE music

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I love learning about people and sharing my own life experiences and personality with others... whatever we teach each other will be discovered in that process :)
