Overview
About Me
A student, a writer, a thinker, a vegetarian, interested in fashion and culture (and paisley, yea, lots and lotsa paisley). A willing learner. Can be paradoxically ascetic at times, which explains why my fav music ranges from Marilyn Manson to The Civil Wars. I spent two weeks writing in utter darkness. Doubt me.
Here's my YouTube channel if you're interested. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBEI8AHkn5Eu7vmU1rlVEtQ
I might not talk a lot when I'm knackered. My mind can't process words when I'm tired/hungry/thinking.
From my experience, ppl tend to have this preconceived idea that asians, esp one like me who's doing medicine, have tiger parents but I don't. Since young I've evaded tickets with my mom, a police car hot on our trail with the blaring siren and all. I have a mother who demanded me to find a partner as soon as I turned legal, and a grandma who shouts profanities but loves me so much so that she's willing to give up beer in exchange for a wine-drinking spree with me. It's no wonder that I grow up with a fear of normalcy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
You know, the cliches.
Interests
Writing, reading, traveling, all about being weird. Did I mention that I just nailed a sped-up version of Eminem's Rap God? Well, I'm that awkward chunk of an equation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
-The person whom I bestowed upon my first kiss, puked into my cavity and was declared dead minutes after. It's CPR.
-Emceed for Wadaiko Yamato, and Mio san, the Japanese envoy dressed me up in a yukata!
-Had an arse-bump with Liang Wendao (梁文道). XD
-Lizishu (黎紫书) offered me a handshake (fangurling)!
-Traveled alone in China for two months and visited 11 cities. Met beautiful people from France, Spain, Chile, US etc.
-Almost got detained by Thai customs for possession of Orwell's "1984".
-Appeared in the news a couple of times for a number of reasons. I LOATHE the limelight.
-Pretended to be someone's girlfriend, then his wife.
-Talked people out of suicide.
-Held at gunpoint by two security guards for crossing an armored truck.
-Sometimes I travel just to feel what it's like to be homeless, like that time when I slept on rigid floorboards and restaurant tables, and walked beside a cliff in pouring rain and falling pebbles like a boss.
*I just noticed how it says "one". Damnit.
