My name is Hua, you can also call me Harry. I was born and raised in northeast China, but now live in Xiamen, a beautiful city on the coast in southeast China. I'm working in a global logistics company.

I love travelling! Especially backpacking~ I love photographing and making friends on trips. While traveling, I prefer to arrange things by myself, trying to find and learn as much as I can. I love to visit local streets and living areas, talk to and eat together with locals, take local transportation, see and feel the local culture and traditions...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Before knowing CS, I've been backpacking in a dozen of countries, mostly staying in hostels and BnB. I like the atmosphere where I can meet different people, talk to them, learn from them, hang out or tour together with them. When I heard about CS from one of my colleagues, who is a very kind and warmhearted host, after finishing my travel in New Zealand in January 2017, I was so excited and interested in it and can't wait to join in it.

I'm not a fancier of music, movies or books, and there isn't a specific type of them which I like the most. I would like to listen, watch and read any one as long as it's not boring and time-wasting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Helped by local people when hitchhiking in New Zealand, although it was only a 30km ride. That's the best and warmest experience I have ever had.

I'm not quite good at teaching, but would love to share things, thoughts and experiences what I can. Interaction is the most important in my opinion.
