ABOUT ME

Hello! I'm Cecilia, Ceci as nickname, or you can call me Huai-Yu (which is my original name in Mandarin)
I'm a 22-year-old girl from Taiwan, I speak Mandarin, English, Spanish and a little bit French.
I'm an easy-going person, love to meet different people and get to know new things and new culture.
Now I'm living in Barcelona for exchange program, and I study Humanities and Spanish.

PHILOSOPHY

- Life is like a journey, and each person is on a different path, which each person creates for his own route.
- The world is big, so I think I should try to explore or connect with other parts of the world, there's no limit! Just enjoy what I have and pursue what I desire is important to me. Loving people and being loved is more crucial! Other than my aspirations, families and friends are the most valuable.

I believe CS is one of the best ways to connect to different cultures and people. :)

Have hosted/met up with some people but just got hosted for the first time in Budapest, which was an awesome experience!!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Basically I like all kinds of movies (still I have to admit I'm not that into action films or horro movies...) especially those that can intrigue me to think about some issues or to reflect upon myself.
And books, I like novels (I major in literature though) and I also like books about art & design, just like to look at those pictures.
As for music... I'm not really picky about it but I like post-rock, indie and I also like to listen to movie soundtracks.

I would love to learn different languages, cultures, cuisines or anything that is new to me!!! :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I don't have much to teach, I can teach you Mandarin, calligraphy or some things about Chinese culture (perhaps how to use chopsticks? hahaha) ...However, I can share a lot of things, like the life in Taiwan or even tips for traveling to Taiwan!
