I'm a currently a Ph.D. student (but not a nerd!) in civil engineering at the University of South Florida. I was born and raised in China. I genuinely love traveling, meeting new people, exploring cultural difference, and making friends. I can speak English and Chinese and always eager to learn and know more about this world in different aspects. I grew up in a sports family and my dad is a PE professor and also a basketball coach in university, which makes me a big sports fan.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The third day after I came to the US, I had appendicitis. I went to the hospital and had my first surgery in my life by myself. Didn't know anyone at that time through all this.
