ABOUT ME

I am a journalist who have moved to Beijing after two-years study&work in Europe. Hope I can still keep my life path internationally :p.

Sometimes I can do hosting. Please ask in your message :) And I don't reply the message only wanting a free place to stay.

I am always willing to try something new and share with other people. Now I am studying with a bunch of international students from 40 different nationalities. Always keen to experience different cultures.
Since my dream is to be an international journalist, I would like to hear more stories from different people in different places:)
I love good food, languages and photography!
I believe that the cross culture communication will bring both of us joy and happiness.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

2012, summer holiday, when I was taking the train in Vietnam from Nha Trang to Saigon. A nice old man sat near us kept talking with someone in his cellphone. Suddenly, he gave his phone to one of my friend, then my friend just started to speak Chinese on the phone, which surprised all of us,because the old man is Vietnamese and all he knew was how to say hello in Chinese-"NIHAO".
After about 15 minutes, my friend finished the amazing call. It was the old man's nephew,a Vietnamese girl who majors in Chinese. She was talking to her uncle, but her uncle said he met some Chinese students in the train and suggested that maybe she can offer us some local help. She said happily that she can be our tour guide in Saigon!!
We don't expect a stranger in the journey can offer us such a big help! But such luck and kindness do exist without any plan.
In the next 3 days, the girl showed us the local life of Vietnamese and the local culture. We shared the best time wandering in fantastic Saigon.
She said she would like to come to China for further study one day.
From that time, I realize that cross culture communication is such a magic feeling.
