Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a traveler
1. Eager to understand a city profoundly
I don’t like skimming through the city when I travel.
I’d like to give an insight into the city, experience the lives of local people and learn everything about the city.

Couchsurfing give me the chance.

For the most of Hosts are local people, they know well about where the best restaurant located, which the most interesting scenic spot is, where I can buy inexpensive high-quality souvenir.
And, I can figure out the lifestyle of local people through living with them. I can even find out the history, culture, and social customs of the city.
The most important thing is that I will see more than just the good side of the city. I will see the real side of it, its advantages and disadvantages.

2. Eager to listen to stories
I don’t like to just enjoy sceneries in the trip. I’d like to make friends and listen to their stories. As a filmmaker, I really need all kinds of stories.

As a host
1. Pay it back
Lots of good people treated me nicely when I was traveling, so I just want to pay it back.
I’d like to receive a tired traveler, give him or her a comfortable bed, a warm bath, a delicious meal, and tell him or her all of I know about China.

2. Make a film
I really want to make a film like Life in a Day to record stories of people I hosted. If you like, you will have a chance to be in my film.
