ABOUT ME

Ok, what to say? :-) My name is Erika and I come from Slovakia (can you believe it? it was rhyme! and it is only my poetical beginning...:-)) and I am a student (or at least my ISIC says it :-)) and one day I will be a teacher with a top secret mission: to explore closely how it is possible to become an employee of the school from their previous enemy ;-) To be honest: I am still lost, but I am working on it, no stress :-) But my research is not everything I am interested in. Do not get me wrong, I like the cooperation with CIA, but after Sydney Bristow has left the agency, it is not so funny anymore... It reminds me - I am a big fan of TV series also ;-) Maybe because of them I started to dream about many beautiful places - e. g. to visit Café Nervosa (ok, I know, it is fictional... and? :-)) in Seattle to see Niles cleaning his chair, or to hear in NY pub Barney saing "Challenge accepted!" :-) On the travelling I like mostly the meeting with the people, their culture, their customs - they are impressive! And so splendidly exotic for me! And all those famous monuments, buildings, parks, shops etc! :-) Do not worry, in my real life I am not so pathetic, but I think that sometimes it is more than appropriate to stop for a while and just admire the world around us ;-) Besides travelling I like hiking, biking and swimming (but I am not Michael Phelps, you know :-)). I study history and slovak literature, so I am impressed by human creations and originality - I like when people can be creative, when they are ready to risk their popularity by doing something new, unexpected but worthy as well... I want to believe that at least one small piece of this characteristics is hiding in me ;-) And I also like the work with children, they can be amazingly sincere and original! :-) So... that is me :-)

PHILOSOPHY

I am Christian, so my philosophy has a lot to do with my belief, but it does not mean that I am not able to consider another opinion or to create my own :-) Maybe the following is not very philosophical and it is not definitely original, but I consider humour to be the most important invention invented during the human era ;-) To make people happy and try to stay healthily crazy - that is my cliché recipe for fancy life ;-)

Interests

travelling (of course :-)), hiking, biking, swimming, reading the books, music, working with children (or is better to say "playing" :-)), watching TV series (Frasier, How I met your mother, Black books, Yes, (prime) minister, Red dwarf, M.A.S.H., Castle, Luther, House etc)

favourite books: Lord of the Rings, Hobbit (Tolkien), Firestarter (S. King), The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (Douglas Adams), Godfather (Mario Puzo) & all the detective stories of Agatha Christie and Arthur C. Doyle :-)
And I love shows of Dylan Moran! :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I remember times when I thought I had no talent at all... But suddenly it came! I knew I was extraordinary, I knew it! Few years ago I was blowing my nose and I do not know how (it was simply a miracle... I am sure) but suddenly I had three of my fingers in one of my nostrils! :-) I know, it is just amazing! :D
