About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To get as Weird as possible, because when the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.

ABOUT ME

I love getting out there and going places for no particular reason. I love talking to strangers in truck stops. I like being chased out of motel parking lots for sleeping in my car. I like traveling long distances by myself and coming back with way more friends than I started with. I really like beer.

PHILOSOPHY

Do what's fun, worry about consequences later. Nothing is as much fun unless there is some element of danger. Eating healthy is for chumps. Listen to rock and roll. Above all else, before I do anything, I ask myself: what would James Bond do?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I try to spend at least a month a year couch surfing. My record is three months straight. It's a hell of a story that involves 7 states, me being kidnapped, and 3 different police jurisdictions, and never fails to get a round bought for me. Ask me about it when I'm crashing at your place.

Interests

Snowboarding, rock climbing, hiking, camping, traveling/driving, kayaking, homebrewing, books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've ever done was referenced under previous couchsurfing experiences. You can hear the whole story when I crash at your place. One of the most amazing things I've ever seen is the sun rise over DC from the top of a 20 story construction crane.
