I’m Hubert

I’m an extrovert, who likes to meet new people 😀

My foreign friends told me that they like me cause I'm not a typical Polish person. Mostly because I smile a lot :).

After few years of struggling I've finally found my vocation, which is teaching. 😊 I'm into linguistics a loooot and into physics, math, a little bit of sociology and psychology.

I love climbing, eventually, at age 24, I've found my favourite sport :D.
Living in The Netherlands made me love cycling which I practise everyday since then. Even during Polish winters.

I love cooking, I do it every day, I see it as a way to be healthy. You are what you eat ;)
Thus I’m into herbal medicine, healing with diet etc.

I ride motorcycles since I was 14, but in 2021 I had a pretty serious accident and I’m trying out different ways to travel now.

Music and books play a big role in my life. I couldn’t live without them.
Recently, I’ve bought myself pair of good headphones for my birthday. Now, I’m slowly learning on how to become an audiophile ;)

I’m a big fan of computer and board games. I play video games all my life 😊

I enjoy Yoga, I feel positive impact of it on my life.

Linguistics and learning languages are two things that interest me the most lately.

MUSIC
My favourites are (in that order):
- rock (60s hippie vibes and some punk rock)
- acoustic music: classical, folk, jazz
- 70s&80s disco.

But I like different genres. I literally listen to all music that has soul, thus is made with love.
I don’t like generic or pop music that is created just for money 😢

MOVIES
I don’t watch much movies lately, I focus on books and video games.
If I do watch something, then, similarly to music, I like to watch something made with love. Maybe with a message to pass, or with a deeper meaning, or just really funny (The Office for example)

GAMES
I play single player games (RPGs, action and indie). I like immersive games with a good story to tell.

BOOKS
I read mostly sci-fi, fantasy and self improvement books.
Surprisingly, Poland has really good sci-fi authors.
My favourite ones are Stanislaw Lem and Janusz Zajdel. Their books are mind-blowing. They predicted things such as internet and smartphones. They’re both funny and perceptive in their works

TLDR: Music, audiobooks and games I love the most :D.
