ABOUT ME

Well, I am a very straightforward person. I try to be as much assertive as possible, so I always speak my mind with respect to other people. I value freedom the most - that's why I respect other people's freedom and privacy and usually get along with them just fine.

Small facts about me: I was born and grown up in Elk, quiet and peaceful town in the northwestern Poland, surrounded by beautiful lakes and forests. For my studies I moved to Poznan, where I live until now. During my life I met a pretty multicultural bunch of people and learned a bit from everyone. I find it very satisfying to know people better, and in order to do that I should start travelling all over the world :)

PHILOSOPHY

Well, the best words that describe my view on life are "live and let live". I don't feel connection to any of the existing philosophies, I'd rather follow my own set of rules and conscience.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now I just want to know how CS works, so I'm focusing on surfing and hosting. But maybe in the future, when my computer skills get better, I'll start working with the CS IT to improve our website to be even more user-friendly.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Recently I thought it would be good to change something in my life, and meeting people from all over the world is one way to accomplish that. I've just recently discovered CS and I think it's a wonderful idea. So here I am :)

Interests

People - they are a fascination of mine. I want to understand them, and in order to do that I want to learn about them as much as possible.

Besides that I'm interested in computers, of course :). Movies, music, roller-skating. Played Role Playing Games for a while. Coffee maniac. Recently I have become a yerba mate fan.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: "Braveheart", "Fight club", "Band of brothers", "Sin City", "Clockwork Orange", "Ben Hur", "Leon", "Snatch", "Bandyta", "Equilibrium"

Music: I just love rock and metal, but I listen to other genres too. My favourite bands are In Flames, Haggard, Siddharta, Disturbed, Arterya, Arch Enemy, Orphaned Land, Coma and Origa.

Books: Mostly fantasy, thrillers and sci-fi. My favourite writers are J.R.R. Tolkien, Andrzej Sapkowski, Phillip K. Dick, Stephen King and Thomas Harris.

Learn - anything possible. Teach - computer skills mostly.

I'm more like "jack of all trades, master of none" person :). However during my life I've picked up some handy skills someone may find useful.
