About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to let the heart grow

ABOUT ME

I'd like to think I'm pretty fun, easy going and open minded. I love meeting different people from all over the world. Nothing quite beats travelling, I believe. Quite the avid reader too. Anything that stretches the mind to ponder over various things (be it frivolous or serious) is great for me.

PHILOSOPHY

You gotta find ways to open your eyes, mind and the all too precious heart. The world is your oyster yeah, but you gotta have a rough idea HOW you're going to consume this damn oyster.

Interests

I love having interesting conversations. Anything vastly different from your personal point of view is stimulating.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favourite movies include Shawshank Redemption, Erin Brockovich, The Intouchables, Love Me If You Dare, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

My taste in music is rather diverse. From my dad's influence - Eagles, Chicago, The Beatles, the classics, to the 90s like Cranberries, Radiohead, Oasis and others such as Arcade Fire, Death Cab, Edward Sharpe, Ingrid Michaelson, The Shins, The Naked and Famous, etc

Books that have moved me include, Written on the Body, The Chrysalids, The Handmaid's Tale and Woman at Point Zero. Currently reading Milan Kundera's The Unbearable Lightness of Being.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was alone in an underpass in Varna. There was a man playing a melodious happy tune on the accordion. Here comes an old man with a walking stick and a hat. The old man suddenly dances along to the music and to witness that lovely interaction between the two men was beautiful.

Seeing the Hagia Sofia in Istanbul was utterly breath taking. A physical representation of the harmony between different religions is pretty damn amazing.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Bulgaria, China, Czech Republic, France, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Poland, Serbia, Spain, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In
