The versatility and mysterious cultures around the world never fail to attract my attention and I hope to enjoy the trip through face-to-face interactions with various people.

Right now I am in Shanghai, definitely a megacity in China, for my master degree program. I study in SJTU and live in the house I rented. If
you are looking for a host in my hometown Wuhan, maybe I am unable to look after you by myself. But it doesn’t mean that you can’t pay a visit there. If you visit Shanghai, I can take you around in the city and show you my beautiful campus. Walking around in the city of Shanghai is always pleasant and charming experience and really wish you enjoy this place.

The most courageous experience in my life is probably losing weight. During the pandemic the insulting words on the internet made me depressed and I was extremely overweight at that time. But now I look kind of normal.really hard to imagine I was 110kilo 4years ago.

on 2025. 05.15. I’m kind of depressed since I was unable to balance the expectations of my master project and what I actually did, after diagnosed with eating disorder(binge eating), I did gain a lot of weight. Hope to recover soon.

On 2025.09.15 I m away from my hometown Wuhan and I am able to host travelers there. I currently live in Lingang, Shanghai. Quite far from the urban area. But we do have some landscape of countryside and seas nearby. If you wish, we can probably visit downtown together and be your tour guide.
Since I need to get back to university after 1 year absence of leaving time, I am planning to return to Minhang, which is much much closer to my school. Here you need about 1 hour to get to downtown area and the train station is just 5 minutes walk from my home. I would say this is a better location for surfers comparing to Lingang.
The house is basically a room for one person. With a bed.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy meeting people from different areas around the world and I want to make friends with people from different backgrounds. I think interactions with people from different backgrounds, facilitate the establishment of mutual understanding and solidarity of humanity. We are all people and many hinder between different people can be solved through making new friends and learning new things.

Also, why not? If you have a vacant space, it’s probably not a bad choice to share it with people who have something in common with you

Manage to lose 40kilos in weight (well after binge eating disorder I gained around 20 kilos again, wish I can lose more)
Solo travel to Europe. Iberia peninsula and Italy in 2024 summer
Teach high school students English in 2025.01
Solo travel to Japan Kyushu ( Fukuoka, Nagasaki, Kumamoto and Munakata) in 2026 January, to Japan Tokyo and Hokkaido in 2026 February.
Always feel interesting to meet up new people and things.
