I like certain aspects of it but I prefer a bit of luxury as most of the people I see doing it seem to be backpackers. I mainly stick to hotels or Airbnb,s

I am in Netherlands for work. I want to meet new and interesting people to make friends with. Currently in the pretty town of Delft. I was in London for about 2 years also did a lot of traveling across Asia. I have a big list hopefully I can add to that list.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I cant sleep on a couch I will never sleep on a couch. However, I enjoy sleeping on a clean floor. I don't understand why people sleep in beds. Mattresses are too soft!
I am on this to meet new people. I love to socialize. I prefer knowing a small amount of people but know them really really well then I can keep them as close friends. Once you become my friend I have your back. I was reared on a farm in the countryside in Ireland with 2 brothers. I always think country people think differently. We are not used to people so we have to be extra nice it's like the law in the countryside.

Music, Movies, and Books

IT(the movie with the friendly clown), Aliens, Predator, any type of sci-fi. I don't however like spiderman I feel they have remade it far too much. Toby got a facelift.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I remember moving to Netherlands and living on my own for a year in a country I had never been to. I booked a flight and used google maps to find the office. I was very proud that I survived the year there and made a few friends. I now feel I could move to any country!

Teach, Learn, Share

Its funny I often go to pub table quiz,s but i notice i cant answer any of the questions. How come there arent more questions like 'What type of software implementation would you recommend for this company' or 'Rest or Soap API which is more suitable for my needs'. I can teach IT :)

I would love to learn Chinese its not going so well so far but I am very determined don't get me started on the writing.
