Overview
About Me
I was born and raised in Yorkshire - a rural area in northern England.
I became interested in the natural world and moved to Cambridge to study physics. Now I am studying biological physics in Princeton.
In addition to science, I enjoy reading, writing and running as well as things which don't alliterate so well.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am interested in how different people live, especially when it comes to food.
Interests
My main interest is science and technology. However, I am keen to gain some understanding of: history, politics, literature, philosophy...
Away from the reading lamp, I run, bake, cook, and pretend I can make things.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: classical, film and electronic, e.g. Beethoven, Amelie and Daft Punk
Movies & Books: character driven stories such as: The Godfather and The Great Gatsby. I also like Sci-Fi which deals with new ideas: Azimov, and Iain M Banks.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Amazing...that's difficult, so I will dodge the question. I very much enjoyed living in Hamburg for a summer (2013): there were lot's of interesting people and events.
Teach, Learn, Share
I enjoy talking about my interests (above) and new things which other people are excited about.
