About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Meet, greet, travel, have fun, learn, experience.
ABOUT ME
I was born in 1992 Austin, Texas and have lived there my whole life. Most of my time is occupied by school, soccer, rock climbing/caving, hanging with friends, and reading. When I have a break from school I often travel with my familia or go on a backpacking trip with friends.
These are the basic watered-down facts about me. There of course is far more that doesn't fit in a tiny box.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
One of the most difficult challenges of traveling is that you begin from the outside looking in. From this vantage point you mostly see what is directed your way, advertisements and tourist traps. Couchsurfing is great because it helps you move beyond this dynamic and interact with lovely individuals without economic interests. Couchsurfing helps people be travelers and not tourists.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Several years ago I couchsurfed around europe for 45 days. This was awesome, I met so many wonderful people.
The people I surfed with were fantastic, and the meetings were tons of fun. When couchsurfing works, it can provide the best experiences while travelling. I think meeting up with other surfers/hosts has always been a blast for me.
Interests
I enjoy watching a making movies, playing soccer, hiking/other outdoor activities. Essentially I enjoy most activities and am always open to new ones.
Please tell me your opinions about anything, I love to hear what people think.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: All types but country. I particularly like Arcade Fire, Radiohead, Kendrick Lamar, etc. I listen to a ton of music.
Books: I love the classics, Camus, Tolkien, Orwell, Nabokov, Faulkner. Reading is awesome...yeah :)
Movies: I'm a huge movie nerd. Wes Anderson is probably my favorite director but I love lots of movies, indie-movies not excluded. I frequent movie festivals all the time.
