Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted in New Zealand, surfed throughout India and Nepal, and have organised CS get-togethers in Reading, England.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was first introduced to CouchSurfing I was fairly skeptical. Having both hosted and surfed however, I have to say that CouchSurfing is absolutely amazing. The vast majority of people I have met through CS have been incredibly open minded and generous individuals who I feel privileged to have met.

Interests

SCUBA diving is my biggest passion. Combining travel and diving is the perfect solution to happiness for me! I also enjoy running, trekking and outdoor pursuits in general.

Music, Movies, and Books

Whilst I have a broad taste in music, old school hip hop has a very special place in my heart. Music by The Wu-Tang Clan was the soundtrack to my youth.

I'm not a massive movie watcher, so not too fussed by genre etc as long as there's some good acting and an interesting plot.

As far as books are concerned, I mainly read fantasy novels with The Wheel of Time and Song of Fire and Ice series being favourites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Half a year in India will remain with me forever. Such a beautiful place and a privilege to have been involved in the culture.
