Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To travel and learn.
ABOUT ME
Hi! My name is Hugh, I am a 21 year-old student from a small town in Minnesota, USA. Currently I am studying English literature and Business Economics at the College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio. My passions include rock climbing, classical literature, old National Geographic magazines, cooking (mostly Vegan, although I am not), backpacking, playing acoustic guitar, and especially traveling. In 2004 I lived in a small village in lower Austria for a year, and did quite a bit of traveling around Western Europe then. Last winter I stayed in Kolkata, India for a month and traveled up to Delhi and Kashmir.
PHILOSOPHY
Two phrases my grandfather instilled in me that I think are profound and have not failed me yet:
1) Do a good turn daily.
2) See what you look at, and look at what you see.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Although I had to verify my couch in Red Wing, Minnesota, I am currently in Wooster, Ohio and offer my futon up to anybody passing through.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
This summer I stayed up in Victoria, BC with Dave and Suzanne. While I was up there we heard about a Radiohead show over in Vancouver so we caught the ferry and saw one of the most amazing shows ever.
