Hi! My name is Hughes, but I think you got that haha.
I live in a suburb of Montreal. Pretty calm over here! Too calm sometimes... That's why I want to travel; see things!
I wasn't a globetrotter, not at all. But in the middle of my bachelor degree in mechanical engineering, I decided to go on a road trip with a friend of mine. It was one of the greatest decision I've ever made. From San Francisco to Las Vegas, we got through all the national parks and canyons that we could. Since, I want to discover the world, one country at the time though haha.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

As a student, I don't have that much money to spend on a trip, even if I believe traveling is the best thing you should put your money on. So after a few conversations with some friends of mine who use to travel a lot, I decided to suscrib to Couchsurfing and I hope I'm going to meet nice people through my futur trips!

兴趣

I love music, really. I play guitar and a bit of bass in a garage band. We did a few shows in the past years, but we're all very buzy so we aren't very active at the moment haha.
Moreover, I love beer (like a lot of people I guess haha). IPA, stout, barley wine, I like to discover new ones and share about it with friends!

I listen to many types of music. It goes from ska to matcore. I like bands like Reel Big Fish, The Mad Caddies, Streetlight Manifesto, The Flatliners, August burns Red, Born of Osiris and Cake.
Furthermore, I listen to eletronic music and electroswing! Just like Haywyre and Tape Five.
