About Me

French student who want to expand its horizon.
I live in Paris, but originally I am from the south of France.

Currently:

I am doing an intership in Bangkok (Thailand) for a few month to work for the French Embassy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend of mine told me good thing about Couchsurfing while I was telling him about my future travel plans.
So I wanted to give it a shot.

I am new here, but I am curious to find out how generous peoples can be with stranger. And if I fell confortable, I hope to return the favor and welcoming people to my home.

Overall, Couchesurfing seems to be a great opportunity to meet, shared interest and perspective which is a pleasure when you are thinking about travelling on your own.
I hope these future social experience will help me broader my mind and understanding about other cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am cinephile. Movie is probably my favorite form of art. Paris is one of the best city to fulfill this passion.
Here some of my favorites classics: "Apocalypse Now" by Coppola, "Taxi Driver" by Scorsese, "Heaven and Hell" by Kurosawa, "400 blows" by Godard, "It's a Wonderful Life" by Capra; "Once Upon A Time in the West" by Leone.

Due to my education, I love books. I read a lot of philosophy, social science and literature.
Right now, I am in the middle of Jack London novels . Pretty amazing pieces of reading.

I am into all kind of music. Jazz (particularly latin) might be my favorite one. Reggae and Rap are also strong choices.

As for sport, I am practicing badminton and swimming at the moment. I have done tennis and boxing in high school. I also like to ski. And I don't mind a good hinking experience to take some air from time to time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Find all the Caravaggio painting in Roma, Italia.
And in bonus: explore every major basilic and cathedral of the city. Splendid architecture, ceiling and sculpture.

If we are not talking about travelling, I read all Plato dialogues (even the one nobody care or know about). Which it is something that I am proud about as a philosophy enthusiasm.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some French langage (even curse if you want^^). Or I might share with you advices on literature, film or philosopher to discover.

If you want to know what is going on recently in France (politic, culture, economic and social situation), I am your guy.

It would be much appreciated if I can learn how to live like the local during my journeys (understanding the customs and common expression, cooking the everyday food, experience craftsmanship, sport, dance).
