About Me
I wouldn't like to describe myself saying I am good, easy going or well mannered, but i can tell you about my passions and personal goals.
I am studying architecture by now. I am curious about everything and more about everything in art. I like a lot the music, whenever it has goodcomposition, rythm, and drama in it. I used to play the violin when I was in Mexico, now I regret for having abandonned my vilolin for this year. I just discovered the cinema and I think I am becoming a cinephile.
Well I like to walk a lot because that makes me think of many things and let me discover the world in the human scale not in the scale of cars, cabs. I like to share a cuo of coffee and have a good talk, even if the cup of coffee is imaginary. I like a lot walking inside a good building and have the expirience of architecture one of my dreams is to experience Louis I. Kahn's buildings, in america. Before one of my dreams was to experience Le Corbusier's buildings and now I live in Paris i am doing it everytime I can.
I like a lot taking the time to appreciate the beautiful moments in the life wich very often last for not so long as a sunset, the hues of the sky, the clouds ( a cumulonimbus! ), the old people's smile, children playing or laughing and everything yourself can imagine could be a moment to appreciate. This has lead me to go through photography wich has become for me a way of expression in itself. I would like to learn more and more about this art.
As I was born in Mexico city i like big cities but I have to confess that I dream of leaving as far as possible from them and have a big land where to plant trees and flowers.
Finally, I like people in general and I am very curious of meeting new persons anytime, persons who have a story or something to tell.
One of my personal goals is to finish my studies in architecture and build my own studio in order to apply theories and ,the most important, my personal ideas of architecture. I want to come back to Mexico city and develop a magazine of architecture inspired by students' spirit. I would like to continue playing the violin and studying music. And probably the most important goal by now for my next years, would be to take my parents everywhere I have been and show them what I am discovering and what i have seen during this trip.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am currently living and studying in Paris (ENSA Paris-Belleville), France and I am ready to leave my flat next july. My travel back home is planned on August the 6th so I have more than 1 month to travel around Europe. I truly believe that traveling is very good for us and it is a building expierience. It is my first time living in another country and this has been such an expirience that I agree totally with the french painter Eugène Delacroix who just travel twice in his life and who once said "travels are good, they give you the chance to have new emotions". Besides this, as I am studying architecture i would like to discover and experience all the architecture I can, because it is not enough to learn arcitecture in books or at school.

Music, Movies, and Books
Even if it sounds like a cliché I like "Classical" music Chopin his Cello sonata Op. 65 and The piano concerto no. 1, Mendelssohns violin concerto, Brahams' violin concerto ....
Movies : A space odyssey (Stanley Kubrik), V forvendetta ( James Mc Teigue), Whiplash (Damien Chazelle), Una Giornata Particolare ( Ettore Scola),Malena (Giuseppe Tornatore), Gattaca (Andrew Niccol ), La Haine (Mathieu Kassovitz ), Jurassic Park; E.T. and The list of Schindler (Steven Spielberg).
It is very hard for me to choose a book but I would probably say: Rayuela by Julio Cortázar, beacause of its original way to interact with the reader, the way he writes is like a mix of chronicle, prose and poetry; and Il nome della Rosa by Umberto Eco who writes inspired by true manuscripts the life of Adso di Melk, young franciscan novice charged to the ex-inquisitor Guillermo di Baskerville to be instructed by him in his studies (the story's set in a legendary medieval and benedictine abbey in the italian Liguria, and which library was probably the richestof the ancient world.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have sang in the middle of an ancient and medieval parisian street to a friend of mine, while he was watching through the window.
