I am visiting Ireland in June/July 2023 and my feeling is that in order to properly experience a new country and its culture, you have to experience it with the people who know it best
Also when someone comes to South Africa I feel nothing makes it more worthwhile than being with a "lekker" Saffa who likes to entertain, braai and make you feel at home
