Brave new world, The Dice man, and Palahniuk, Houllebeq novels... Usually I read a lot of psychoanalysis/psychology too.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I quit my secure and nicely payed job, sold my car and left my personal stuff in a storage room after leaving my house. Then I bought one-way ticket to Thailand just to travel solo without plans in SE Asia.
Get out from your comfort-zone! YEAAAH! :)

Travelling seems like experiences from long years are condensed on days...
During our travels, there is time for encounters and farewells, for joy and deception, there is time to feel overwhelmed by sensations and also time for full calm with no strings attached. We cross closed doors by routine and fear, and look through windows shutted by indifference and comfort.
From our nest, we look with suspicion and criticism to the others, but during a trip, we come out and our eyes find the similarities that bring us together. Paradoxically, we can find the space for us in different locations, with different people... to travel is to encounter with oneself through the Other :)
