Somos una pareja de arquitect@s mexican@s, Cristina y Hugo, ella es profesora e historiadora de la arquitectura de la UNAM y tiene su Laboratorio Editorial de Arquitectura, yo tengo un pequeño taller de arquitectura en Iztapalapa y ambos vivimos cerca del Centro de Tlalpan en una casa que diseñamos. Somos nuev@s en la plataforma y comunidad de CS, pero nos entusiasma mucho el recibir personas viajeras, como el ser recibid@s en otras partes del mundo.
En lo personal yo Hugo soy biofílico, editor y próximo historiador del arte, me gusta de preparar los mejores platillos con lo que sea que encuentre en el refrigerador, intento de vegetariano en un 80%, amante de deambular por la ciudad y ser el típico flaneur mientras me pierdo en la multitud. Soy un orgulloso jardinero y cuidador de un árbol de limón, aguacate, mamey, mango y un extinto chayote, lo que me ha servido para generar un intercambio estacional de frutos en mi comunidad y familia. El agua me llama, hay algo en el mar que siento que le escucho aun estando en la ciudad. Amo reír, bailar, comer, mirar cine y tan solo el contemplar un amanecer o atardecer con mi persona favorita en el mundo que es mi compañera de vida Cristina.

We are a couple of Mexican architects, Cristina and Hugo. Cristina is a professor and architectural historian at UNAM and has her own Architecture Editorial Lab. I have a small architecture studio in Iztapalapa, and we both live near downtown Tlalpan in a house we designed. We are new to the CS platform and community, but we are very excited about welcoming travelers, as well as being welcomed in other parts of the world.
Personally, Hugo, I am a biophilic, an editor, and a soon-to-be art historian. I like to prepare the best dishes with whatever I find in the refrigerator. I am an 80% vegetarian, and I love wandering around the city and being the typical flaneur while getting lost in the crowd. I am a proud gardener and caretaker of a lemon, avocado, mamey, mango, and an extinct chayote tree, which has helped me generate a seasonal exchange of fruits in my community and family. The water calls to me. There's something about the ocean that I feel I can hear even when I'm in the city. I love laughing, dancing, eating, watching movies, and just watching a sunrise or sunset with my favorite person in the world, my life partner, Cristina.
