Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been living in several places where people had a couchsurfing account, and we were happy to host people in our home.

Besides couchsurfing-the-website itself, I both hosted and surf while I was active in other associations. I traveled in several countries in Europe and went one in Brazil. I also did wwoofing in Japan (near Mastumoto, Nagano-ken), and a semester at Kyoto University.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sunrise from mount Norikura in the Japan Alps.
I was wwoofing at "Tengallon Hat" pension, and there is a bus that pass by at 3 in the morning, to reach the summit before the sunrise.
We (other wwoofers and me) took the bus, I expected to be empty but it was actually full of Japanese seniors with high-end cameras, ready to shoot the sun !
We hiked a bit after the sunrise, on this strange basalt-based ground. When we went down to the pension it was only 9am, but it felt like I already had a full day behind...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can cook a bit if there is an opportunity.
I like spending relaxed time with nice people, with no precise activity. Although if I visit a city, I guess I'd like walking around while chatting.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Some good mood :)
