My name is Huimin. I'm from Malaysia, truly Asia. Currently residing in Singapore. I love food, travel and people. I can't drive or cycle to save my life, I make up for that by being pretty good at taking public transport and not whine when I have to walk for hours. I don't believe in anything or anyone being boring. There's always something to learn and new things to be discovered.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couple of my friends are into couchsurfing, they shared their hosting and surfing experience with me and got me interested. Since I love traveling and meeting people. I thought this would be a great community to do just that. So here I am.
However, I can't host anyone visiting Singapore just yet because i don't have an apartment of my own. I am living with my landlord and house rules are house rules. :( BUT, if I happened to be in the country when you're visiting, I'll be glad to show you around.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spontaneously decided to take a trip to Japan with no plans and no hotel booked. This happened in 2010 and it was the first trip I've ever took on my own. I realized how much I had been missing out living lazily and simply staying in my comfort zone. Since then, I've been travelling whenever I have the chance to.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I make pretty good chicken wings. If chicken or meat isn't really your thing, I make pretty good vegetarian spring roll. If that isn't your thing either. I make pretty good....-I can google up some recipe.
