About Me
Updated: 14th of October 2024
My last job was a front desk and office assistant at a tutoring school (after school), I resigned my job and started travelling from 21st of October, 2024.
In the past eight months, I’ve hosted travelers from around the world and met many incredible people, some of whom I can now call friends. Their stories have inspired me, and I’m grateful to have them in my life. I know there are still wonderful people out there I haven’t met yet. Now, it’s my turn to visit my former guests in their countries, at a slower pace.
I became a vegetarian since 21st of July, 2023, choosing a flexible diet between vegetarian and vegan. I can adapt to different situations, opting for meals without meat chunks if vegetarian options are scarce. This choice is personal; I used to love meat, but after a month-long challenge to go meatless, I found I didn’t crave it as much. So, my reason for being vegetarian is quite simple.
——————————————————————————————
I’m from Taiwan, I’m interested in many things, such as cooking, baking, culture, history and languages, etc. I used to live in the UK, Netherlands and Canada for travelling and working.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My Initial thought was that since I have a spare bunk bed, I could help travellers, make friends and broaden my horizons. After the few experiences on Couchsurfing, I’ve met some incredible human here, it’s truly the best platform for making friends and building communities.

Any kind of music as long as I enjoy.
I enjoy various types of movies, but I recently found out that Science Fiction doesn’t keep my attention for too long.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I made a delicious apple pie for a 90 year-old elder. He loved it and had it every single day in his last 2 months of life.
