My name is Huib, and I moved in 2020 to Kampen. I live here with my girlfriend, Ilona, who grew up in Kampen. I like it here a lot. It is a beautiful authentic city with some nice nature around it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and meet new people. I want to see a lot of the world. Couchsurfing is a great way to get to know the culture of a new place.
And of course we want to help other travelers by hosting them. It is a great way to get to know same minded people and exchange story's.

Interests

I love nature, cities, meeting new people. I like cooking, music and movies.
I'm not the disco-going type, but I like to be with friends and have a good time. In Dutch we have a word for it. It is" gezelligheid". It means something like having a good time with people. Laugh, talk ect.

I love to meet other travelers and just have some fun.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Camped in the snow.
Overcame some of life's greatest difficulties and still enjoying life.
Hitch-hiked to Prague in 1 day.
Made some very good friends.
Hitch-hiked to Vienna in 1 day.
