COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was in Reykjavik in February and had a few beers with someone I met through CouchSurfing. We also went to a gig to check out some local bands. Good conversation and a very nice evening! I was going to meet an other person I had met through CS as well, but unfortunately I got sick, so it didn't work out...

兴趣

When it's not work work work...: Discovering new (and old) music and making strange compilations; occasional DJ gigs; travelling when possible; watching movies & BBC's crime drama series; sometimes reading, sometimes writing; going to gigs and hanging around in bars; learning to lead a simple life at my "countryhouse" in an old dairy; work-related art-stuff... and of course my all-time favorite activity: sleeping!

Some favourites: The National, Interpol, Kate Bush, Joy Division, New Order, The Smiths, The Cure, Stina Nordenstam, Serge Gainsbourg, Jane Birkin, CSS, The Knife, The Concretes, Kent, Rickie Lee Jones, Nick Drake, The Killers, Miles Davis, Anouar Brahem, Susheela Raman, Manu Chao etc. And lots of Finnish stuff!

And books, love them too. Tove Jansson: Sent i November, F. Scott Fitzgerald: Tender is The Night, Donna Tartt: The Secret History, André Brink: A Dry White Season, J.M. Coetzee: Disgrace, etc.
