🩵Traveled to Mexico, Japan, Thailand, South Korea, cities in the states and Canada^^ I explore new cities mainly by visiting local museums and coffee shops, and going to the theatre for musicals, concerts, or opera. Always open for fun things to do to fully explore the city.

I try to do some preparatory readings on a place’s history and culture before I go, but cannot always make it. Would like to learn that from you or get some suggestions on books or documentaries!

I do hiking and would like to know about some hiking trails accessible by public transport :)

🩵Learning Japanese and Cantonese

Took one intro Italian course before and would like to keep learning the language if I’ve got time!

(Cannot accommodate couch surfers because I’m living in a student flat for now. Will be able to contribute to the community as soon as I get home!)

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I don’t have much experience on Couchsurfing yet, but I spent years on Postcrossing (a website lets people write postcards to each other) It’s through this community I connected with an Italian primary school girl and asked for help on my Italian assignment. She helped a lot explaining the grammatical rules. I sent a couple of postcards to her and felt happy knowing that she liked those cartoon animal postcards. That was when I felt what nice connections people can make through a platform. CS even allows it in a more straightforward way.

Recently I watched a musical “The Six” “Les Miserables” and ballet performance “Onegin” went to see a Bach violin concerto (with rush ticket, which made me feel even better…
🩵Learning to sing Les Temps des Cathedrales in French. Not easy but working on it!

Love visiting museums, photo shooting, and anything outdoor (just a random walk in the city or park would be cheerful)

🩵Transferred from business (my bachelor’s program) to art history in my graduate study and doing well!

🩵Traveled to Mexico with my 2 girls without knowing a single sentence in Spanish > < Met super nice people and clubbing at the public square to spend the last day of 2023

Basically tried all the public transport available to move around the city and suburbs so we checked some places not so touristy but rather cool

🩵cycled for 30 minutes in -15 degree windy Toronto just to get a cup of coffee. I’m glad that the wind was mercy enough to not blow my head away
