Overview
About Me
Born and grew up in Guangzhou, China and went onto university in Beijing where I stayed for 4 years before I traveled to Germany and worked as an aupair for a year. I then spent another 5 years in Beijing where I made most of my favorite couch surfing friends. Now semi-based in Chicago while touring different cities in the US for work.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
by:
surfing couches;
hanging out with couchsurfers;
paticipating in couch surfing meetings;
hosting people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I joined the group in July 2010.
In August i did couchsurf for the first in Stuttgart with Marina and Dimitri; later i went east to Bamberg where Christian took me to a CS meeting and Sanne received me as their first guest. Then I met Ela during the car trip from Munich to Vienna and stayed with her for a day in the city. I really apprciate all the help and hospitality they offered! I decided to write the names in calligraphy of all the people who host me on my trip and i did it:)
Interests
I enjoy good food and try to cook as often as i can. Doing grocery shopping in the nearby vegi-market is one of my favorite passtimes.
I also enjoy doing art supply shopping, though i don't draw as much as i used to.
I totally suck at sports but will always enjoy a good session of 毽子/Pingpong/badminton playing with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
i like movies and books on adventures.My recent favourites are:
1. Seven years in Tibet;
2. Nichts werden macht auch viel Arbeit;
3. äøÃâ¬Ã¤Ã¸ÃªÃ¤ÃºÃºÃ§ÃÅ¡ÃâÃ¥åýÃ¥äéæðÃâ
4. The Sad Book (by Micheal Rosen)
5. The Man Who Ate Everything
But I'm not a fan of music, which means i listen to all kinds of music but won't be able to remember the names of any song or musician.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I arrived in Germany without any german skill to take care of 3kids(2,4and6 respectively), and after 9months i'm finally able to read them stories and talk them into doing everything (in German!). And today i was told that:" Huiyuan, ich hab dich lieb." these words are always more amazing than anything else in the world!
Teach, Learn, Share
i can write calligraphy, not very excellent though.
I'm fond of playing chess, despite the fact that i'm really suck at it (can't even win a 5-year-old--to give you a vague impression about how bad that is).
