ABOUT ME

I am an interesting mixture of peaceful and calm but my need for adventures and discovering new places adds a little crazy side to me (which for me seems completely normal). Can't get enough of travelling, there are just too many amazing places to experience and interesting people to meet. In addition to being in motion, I need to have a fair amount of humor and laughter in each day. Sometimes I tend to get a bit carried away with daydreaming but one has to dream big, right?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I have been mostly surfing which has been a great experience. Hope to do more hosting in the future. Always up to just meeting up with other fellow travellers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Thanks to Couchsurfing I've met some great people. It has given a new meaning to travelling and now I can't imagine the one without the other.

Interests

Things I enjoy - travelling, nature, reading, photography, languages, history, theater, good films, pandas, music, art (the fact that I am colour blind does not stop me :), skiing, cooking (especially muffins), running, mountain skiing, life, universe.

My taste in these is probably a mixture of geeky stuff and mainstream which I enjoy both equally :)

Favorite authors among others Haruki Murakami, Graham Greene, Remarque, Hemingway, Remarque, Margaret Atwood, Oscar Wilde, Jeanette Winterson, Orwell, Chekhov. And of course Harry Potter and LOTR :)

Movies - Mr. Nobody, Blood Diamond, Das Leben Der Anderen, Indiana Jones, Life of Brian, Inglourious Basterds, It's a Wonderful Life, Little Miss Sunshine, Moulin Rouge, Love Actually, Fish Tank.

Music taste depends on the mood - Mumford & Sons, Florence + The Machine, Hurts, Clare Maguire, 30 Seconds to Mars, The Weeknd, Of Monsters and Men, Arvo Pärt, Ben Howard, Imagine Dragons, Ed Sheeran and much more.

I find life in general a pretty amazing experience.
