ABOUT ME

Rosine：I have started my travels in Australia when I was 18, as an exchange student; Since then the virus has caught me! Every time I have a holiday I want to visit places and especially meet people from everywhere.
I believe travelling helps you become open minded and tolerant. Travelling and discovering new cultures is done by meeting people, speaking the language, tasting the food, etc.
I am a food addict, I love cooking and also eating (makes dieting very hard!!)

We have now got an 8 months sabbatical and look forward to meeting people and discover Asian countries!!
Travelling is a drug and living in other countries as well. Living in the UK and in an international city like London makes me feel like I am travelling all the time!!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Even if I am new to this site, I have started to host people since I am 18. After coming back from Australia as an exchange student, I hosted several people from different parts of the world (Japan, Argentina, UK, Australia, Italy, Finland, etc.). My mission is to help them discover my culture, French originally and now English since I have lived in the UK for 4 years. I live with my boyfriend who is also in love with travelling and a real people person. Our spare bedroom is always open and I am looking forward to hosting and meeting more people from around the world!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Even if I am new to this site, I have hosted several travellers, since I am 18 (a while ago!);
As soon as we are back from our trip in Asia, our spare bedroom will be available for more surfers

Sports, I am a very active person so need to practice a sport regularly to feel good! Recently did mountain bike, trekking, running, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I bungy jumped from a 65m bridge!
I travelled to Australia by myslef when I was 18
I did a one week challenge in Borneo (trekking on Mount Kinabalu, mountain bike and white water rafting) for the Prince's Trust and raised above 3500 Pounds

Teach, Learn, Share

I love cooking, so happy to cook with people visiting us
I also speak 3 languages so could definitely try and teach some basic knowledge;
My boyfriend is a new technologies addict and knows his stuff when it comes to IT. He is always happy to share and teach
