About Me

ABOUT ME

I am an easy-going person. I appreciate both nature and civilization beauty, and love to walk around new places for that reason. I love to meet different people and could spend hours in a good conversation. I consider traveling and hosting travellers some of the best experiences one can have.

Interests

I'm a jazz musician, love to watch movies and listen to all kinds of music. I dream of listening sessions with other people, nowadays listening to music (good music) is such a selfish habit!
I love to try local foods and drinks, and I'm slowly working on the cooking art. Love books, philosophy and to learn new languages.
I love kindness and good spirited people around me too.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I'm a musician, and have learned through my profession to listen and enjoy pretty much any sound on nature. But of course I have my favourites. I'm a jazz lover. Recently I've been listening to the oldies, such as music from the 20's and the blues. I love Brazilian music too, my favourite composer is Tom Jobim.

About movies, I'm addicted to Woody Allen's work. I've watched each and every of his films at least 5 times. I know I'm sick, but I loooove it. Outside of Woody's world, I love the plurality of cinema's "languages", but I can cite some favourites here: Coen Brothers, Clint Eastwood, Iñarritu, Bergman, Scorcese, Almodovar, etc., etc., etc...

Books, here we go... Tolstoi, Kafka, Dostoievski, Nietzche, Thoreau, Jack London, etc... I very often prefer to read a classic over any superstar writer, but I confess that I've read many of John Grisham's books when I was younger. No one's perfect! :P
