i swam in a frozen lake once, in Finland. there were engines melting the ice so one would swim around in water that up to just a few seconds earlier had been known as ICE.also, there were saunas and after being inside a sauna we would throw snowballs at each other outside and our body temperature would melt the snow instantaneously.
