Overview
About Me
Hi, I’m Hung-Yu 😊
I’m an architect from Taiwan, currently living and working in Paris.
I’m into architecture, history, and local culture — I love how architecture, place, and memory connect with each other. I enjoy photography, traveling, and little adventures, and I’ve been lucky to visit quite a few countries along the way.
I really enjoy spending time with friends around the world, sharing stories, food, and everyday moments. You could say I’m a bit architecture-and-culture addicted 😄
LGBTQ-friendly, social, and non-smoker.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, traveling isn’t just about seeing new places, it’s about meeting people who live there, hearing their stories, and experiencing everyday life through their eyes. Couchsurfing lets me connect with locals in a genuine way and share cultural exchanges that go beyond tourist spots. I love simple moments like cooking together, walking around the neighborhood, or chatting over a drink — those are often the memories I remember most.
I’m always curious, respectful, and open-minded, and I really enjoy learning how different people see the world. If we cross paths, I’m sure we’ll have good conversations and a few good laughs along the way 😊

Music, Movies, and Books
Artsy films by Wong Kar-wai . I love his visuals, mood, and the way he captures emotions and memories.
Literature by Yukio Mishima . I’ve read almost all of his works and really enjoy his intense, poetic style.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was in 4th grade, I joined an exchange program and traveled around Southeast Asia, visiting many World Heritage sites. That experience really opened my eyes to different cultures and sparked my love for travel, architecture, and history.
