Overview
About Me
I'm a wanderlust soul from the beautiful country of Vietnam, currently living and working in the vibrant city of Hanoi with my beautiful two cats. My heart, however, belongs to the world. I have a deep passion for traveling and exploring new places, and I occasionally take trips around the globe.
What I truly love about traveling is meeting new people and having meaningful conversations. I'm always eager to learn about different cultures, indulge in local cuisine, and uncover beautiful hidden spots that are off the beaten path. I believe in the magic of local experiences—those special moments that you can't find on a group tour or by traveling solo.
I'm an optimistic and open-minded person, always looking to learn something new. I genuinely believe that we all live in a beautiful world, and I'm excited to connect with fellow travelers who share this outlook.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I believe it's an incredible platform that allows me to meet people who enjoy sharing and having a great time together.
It's not just about finding a place to stay—it's about exchanging experiences, learning about different cultures, making new friends, and building meaningful connections. Couchsurfing gives me the opportunity to travel and spend time with locals who can show me unique and interesting places that I wouldn't discover on my own or through typical group tours.
It's all about creating authentic experiences and forming lasting bonds.
I used to be quite active on Couchsurfing back in 2015, participating in various activities and meetups in Hanoi. It was a great way for me to meet fellow surfers, share experiences, and practice English. In 2016, I had my first travel experience in Europe, where I was fortunate to be hosted by many wonderful people, leading to unforgettable experiences. Now, I'm excited to return to Couchsurfing and become more active in this amazing community.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to music every day, which is one of my favorite ways to relax and recharge including kind of music like: indie, pop, rap, top 20 countries…. I like to exchange the Spotify playlist with people
On weekends, you'll find me on my couch, enjoying a good movie or tuning into a podcast. I'm always excited by the surprises and discoveries that come with exploring new music and films—there's always something fresh to experience.
When it comes to reading, I enjoy diving into books that relate to my work, but I also make time for novels and self-help books. These genres offer a great balance of learning, inspiration, and a bit of escapism.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Traveled through Europe has been an incredible experience for me. Specifically, I spent three days walking around Paris, soaking in the rich history, art, and culture of the city. Every corner had something new to offer, from charming cafés to iconic landmarks.
- I also enjoyed a refreshing swim at Cap d'Agde beach, which was a perfect escape into nature.
- I once rode a motorbike with a group of strangers to Ha Giang Pass for 5 days. What started as a journey with unfamiliar faces turned into an incredible adventure with newfound friends, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and endless fun.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you're interested in learning Vietnamese or exploring the flavors of Vietnamese cuisine, I'd be happy to teach you a bit.
I'm also a coffee lover and know various ways to make coffee recipes. You still can find my page name “cupoffave” on Instagram or TikTok . So we could even create some fusion coffee recipes together.
I have a deep love for cuisine and am always eager to learn about your local language and culinary traditions. We can share what we've cooked and made, and have great conversations over it. Currently, I'm learning Spanish, so I'd love to practice with you too!
