ABOUT ME

Well,
- I really like to take pictures (so you can say that I'm a 'landscape' photographer);
- I like to travel, to see & feel different kind of places/countries/cultures (so, you can say that I'm a traveler);
- I like to climb mountains (and, as well, you can say that I'm a mountain climber);
- and especially, I like to know and meet all kind of people from all over the world and you'll say that I'm an open-minded friendly lad...

and I'll say that I'm a lil bit of each.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

-Mostly as a surfer (I don't stay too long @home)
-Giving indications and guiding people who want to travel to Romania or to other countries where I used to live in
-Hosting when I have a location.
-attending different CS meetings
-being active in CS groups;

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed some couches in Northern Europe where I've met some fantastic people and later on, the SE Asia showed me the people are, God forbid, too bloody friendly
I've participated in Timisoara and Edinburgh at some CS gatherings where I've really met great ppl.

While in Norway during a long polar-winter, exploring a small library in a farm, I discovered what it seemed to be the newest revolution of my mental understanding of this world. Guns, Germs and Steel. by Jared Diamond
Even what I'm doing today is inspired by that book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

First of all, I've seen the magical Northern Lights!!
and then...working and driving on the Moon (a desert north of Vatnajokull glacier - Iceland, that looks like the Moon); abseiling from Matterhorn in a stormy-fogy weather, when an avalanche took my friend and when I flipped a coin at the Oslo airport and I dared to change my life (I don't know yet if that was a good idea after all).
I changed a bus in Bangkok for saving 2 Thai Bhat (0,060 usd) from 9 to 7 together with my good old friend, master Swami Arun.
I've been to amazing countries like Papua New Guinea, Myanmar and North Korea.

Teach, Learn, Share

How to live, explore, dream, discover.
I like to teach u how to cook amazing Indonesian food (nasi goreng, rendang, ayam rica-rica) as well as Chinese food (Kung Pao Chicken), Scottish apple crumble and other European dishes.
