About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to see the whole world. Travel around the globe, get to know the people and their culture (especially their food), see different places, and have fun, have as much experience at a given place as possible, before moving on to another place!

ABOUT ME

I am the worst tour guide in Budapest! Ask me to guide through the city only if you'd like to hear utter rubbish about the buildings and you don't mind sentences like "I don't know what's that towery thing behind that other towery thing". OK, that was before I started to travel, so I'm not on Budapest anymore.
Beside of that I am a nice guy. Introvert, but nice. Still I am open for everything. I am sometimes as a child, especially when I am traveling. I am chaotic, lately kind of romantic, I love to try new things (open, sometimes as a child, remember?). I leave the rest to you to find out.

What else is here? I plan to take a round-trip in South America. Sadly I don't know anything about it, any help is welcome :).
Ah yes, I am a relly good listener, love to hear your stories, so please tell me your tale!

You know what? Everything is interesting for me, any impression, any weird stuff your culture and nation has, first of all food (teach me your national dishes).

PHILOSOPHY

Everything happens as it has to happen, and when it has to happen. Oh, and the world is full of awesome people, go and find out yourself. Go out and LOVE! Love the people, love yourself, love your love, and love feeling of being in love!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was hosting people and sometimes guiding them through the city of Budapest. Since I left the city (and Hungary too), I am not able to do that, so I am on the surfing side of couchsurfing :). Right now I am traveling, exploring, discovering new places, and new aspects of my own personality. And I love what I found so far! I hope I can transfer all those feelings and teachings to everybody I meet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only positive experiences so far, hosting sweet people and being hosted by great people! And with some of them we became friends!

Interests

Mountain biking, adventure, climbing, cooking, adventure, sunsets and sunrises, adventure, zip lining, everything what's new, beautiful and different from a European guy's point of view. I would like to see the sun rise in the mountains of Macchu Picchu, I would like to see the mayan, aztec and toltec pyramids and ruins, all the natural beauties, experience the flowing of life and energy, and everything what life has got for me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: sci-fi, fantasy, absurd humour, anime, art movies.
Music: goa/psy, industrial, ska (the original and vintage Jamaican one!), reggae, world music, blues (delta blues, the old-one), metal, rock, rockabilly, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I was driving a train. Yepp, a regular one, with schedule, passengers and stuff.
Once I hitchhiked a boat in Gran Canaria.
Once I hitchhiked an airplane in Mexico.
I rang a church bell when nobody was watching.
Open-air festival with no nearby public lights, so I could see the clear night-sky with all the stars and stuff.
Travelling in the luggage rack of a bicycle - after ~27 years.
Having a flow-moment while cycling alone towards the Austrian border on an abandoned road.
Hitchhiking (the first time I got really out of my comfort zone).

Teach, Learn, Share

Teaching:

What I Can Share with Hosts
