I'm a student from the United States currently studying in Tallinn, Estonia. I love to study languages, and I'm currently learning Estonian. Over the years I've spent a lot of time speaking in and Spanish and German, and I can also speak a bit of Russian and Lithuanian.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet new people who value the experience of travel. I'm still pretty young, and don't really have permanent place yet to host people, but I hope one day I'll be able to host many travelers.

Interests

I am very interested in politics and philosophy. I love to talk about the study of language, and perhaps my most important interest is exploring nature and hiking. I love to get away to the mountains and take paths that are not often traveled.

Music, Movies, and Books

For music I really like a wide assortment of genres. I listen to a lot of electronic music and rock in general though. My favorite bands/musicians are Daughtry, New Order, Kaskade, Morgan Page, and ATB. In Spanish, I like Nach and IZAL.

For movies I love Star Wars, the Mad Max series, and the Marvel movies. For TV, I'm a big fan of Game of Thrones, The Expanse, Altered Carbon, Star Trek, and basically all sci-fi.

I like to read a lot of philosophy as far as books are concerned, and my favorite authors are Dostoevsky, Sartre, and Camus. One of the reasons why I'm learning French and Russian is to be able to appreciate their works such as Crime and Punishment, Nausea, and the Stranger in their native languages.
