About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be wild and free

ABOUT ME

I quit my well-paying job in May of 2011 and booked a flight to Spain. I meandered down narrow cobblestone streets, sunshine so strong you could smell it. I watched the sunset reflect off the calm ocean waves in Italy. I returned to Los Angeles and embarked on a walk across the United States with a friend. I ended the trip after walking across California and Arizona. Walking through the middle of the desert I was no longer able to get what I wanted out of the trip, which was to meet people of different cultures, lifestyles, backgrounds, and beliefs. I now desire to continue this journey, just in a different form. I continue to reach out and connect with people. I continue to pursue new experiences, to open my heart, to learn, to evolve.

PHILOSOPHY

To always be creating. To be wild and free. To learn. To constantly evolve.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I am not in a position where I am able to host, but I utilized CS for my walk across California and Arizona, and it is safe to say it has forever changed how I view this world. Once I am in a position where I can host, I fully plan to.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

AMAZING. When someone you have never met leaves their back door open for you, and homemade soup in a pot on the stove for you...well that is something special.

Interests

I love hanging out with animals, reading, organic food, watching and playing sports, hiking, biking, traveling, photography, psychological thrillers, juxtaposition, creating art, and walking!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Keep pushing up the mountain. The view from the summit is always worth it.

I walked some 770 miles across California and Arizona. Don't worry, it wasn't during summertime.
