About Me

I'm a student currently living together with my boyfriend, our two cats and our two ferrets just outside the center of Groningen. I study International Business and Tim, my boyfriend, is an English teacher. We love to travel and will be embarking on an interrail trip this summer, but also love meeting new people and don't mind opening our home to fellow travellers. We love the outdoors, biking, and trying out new bars and restaurants, as well as visiting museums and historical architectural sites. We'd love to meet likeminded people and share Groningen with you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We love to travel and are very social and enjoy meeting new people, combining the two leads to Couchsurfing! It's the perfect way to experience places more authentically with local insights, and we're ready to get going. This summer we're starting off with a 3-week Eurotrip, and we couldn't be more excited to get to know some awesome people along the way.

We would also enjoy hosting people here in Groningen! We are currently accepting guests and would love to show you the best spots around here.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent 8 months in Cambodia volunteering in local communities while living in a rural village with a Cambodian family. That by itself was amazing, but during my travels I also got to swim in the sea off Koh Rong Samloem, where there's bioluminescent plankton -- absolutely mindblowing to me!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook and bake, and would love likeminded people to cook together! Guests are more than welcome to kitchen appliances and things like spices, as well as our washing machine and dryer. We also have two lovely cats who are more than happy to cuddle, and an extensive collection of books that you are welcome to. You're also welcome to use our TV with Netflix/Youtube/etc. as well, and we have good WiFi. We can pretty much help set you up with anything if you just let us know what you'll be needing.
