Once a friend asked me: "Are you crazy?! Do you really wanna travel one day long just to see that damn lighthouse in reality somewhere in the middle of nowhere...and only because you saw a picture of it in a book...?!"
I think this describes me the most.
(Anyway, the lighthouse was awesome! ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Until now, I was mostly on the surfing side of CS, but also tried out hosting too. I had surfers from Latvia, Lithuania, Canada, Malaysia and was surfing in Latvia, Italy, Canada, Lithuania, Estonia, Romania, Malaysia, Singapore, Belarus and Norway.

I hope, by time, the list will be longer on both ends! ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I tried out CouchSurfing for the first time in 2011 in Latvia. That was truly an eye-opening experience and I understood why some many people regardless of age, gender, nationality and cultural background love it and participate in it.
Amazing feeling when you realize that people living on the other side of the planet can be so similiar to you. Experiencing the unlimited hospitality, unselfishness and helpfulness of complete strangers, making good buddies or life-long friendships, this is true VALUE what we may receive...

Interests
