I am a 26 year old student of Linguistics and English Philology at the University of Cádiz, Spain. I am also an English teacher and I volunteer on a yearly basis.

I am half Spanish and half American and have grown up in both Spain and the USA.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing in order to explore places in the most immersive way. And also, frankly because it is cheaper. I have been a member for a long time, but I am actually quite new to it as I always usually have a friend somewhere!

I am also a gracious host! Hopefully I can build a good reputation on this site.

I am an avid fan of the "Lost Generation" of American authors (Hemingway, Fitzgerald), the Beat Generation, and the Russian Classics.

I am also a seriously amateur movie buff, and personnaly like the Independent and Comedy film genres.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have done many amazing things, and I am very grateful for having the opportunity to have visited and grown up in different places. But the most incredible trip I have ever done was a surfing caravan through Europe for two months. It was the most stressful, beautiful, and refreshing trip I have ever been on.
