About Me

Hello!
I am doing my masters at Koç University (Materials Science and Engineering). I was born in a small city in Turkey, Sakarya. After that, my family moved and lived in 6 different cities. So I did. My family is currently living in Antalya but I am studying and living in İstanbul.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best way of knowing a culture is meeting the people who lived that culture.

Interests

Since I am an academic candidate ; science and technology. I am dancing Argentina Tango for 4 years now. I was organizing some nonprofit events at my university with student clubs. Doing regular fitness and some pool time. And we can say music, I have been playing bass guitar for more than 7 years but just for fun. I have started to brew my own beer at my flat but not continuing to that.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen Rock and Metal mostly and also Tango.
I just dont like to watch horror movies. Everything else is acceptable.
I prefer science fiction and political books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I participated Erasmus program for two semesters during my bahcelor studies at Czech Republic, '15-'16.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can not teach how to speak Turkish, but I assure you that you will learn a couple of important words. Maybe simple examples from Turkish cousin, too.
And I believe that I can learn a lot of things from my guests or hosts. Language, culture and everything. Again, cousin is also acceptable.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have lived at 7 different cities in Turkey. I am familiar with the whole Turkish culture.

Plus, since I lived a year abroad and did my erasmus , I am capable of telling lots of road stories and funny things happened during my journey and stay and Czech Republic!

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In

Cyprus, Czech Republic, Turkey
