Hello, there!

So what should I tell you about me?
I always feel that the 'about me' section is like an interview!
Well, I don't know what kind of a guy I am, still roaming around in search of those answers, but I'll give you this, I love humour, probably even defines me.
Having completed my post-graduation in Biotechnology, from Ireland, I'm a researcher by profession and passion. The aim in life is simple, do good, and leave something behind for people to remember you by. I try to live by that as much as I could be it in personal life or professional life.

I have a dream that one day I'll in some manner be able to aid in curing HIV. Though it is still a dream, my efforts are in that direction.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The concept of Couch surfing is very beautiful!
Something the world needs a lot right now.

Apart from the fact that the it's always nice to interact with new people from various walks of life, couch surfing is a very noble and rather courageous thing to do. To welcome a stranger into your house, to open up not just your living quarters but also your life to a complete stranger require immence faith in the goodness of the person and the idea behind it and that amazes me!

Interests

My interests, well, people! People interest me. I've always been fascinated by the working of the human mind and the argument of nature vs. nurture and meeting new people gives me a new perspective on this, and life in general.

Apart from that, I love travelling and I feel the best kind is, on you're own, but it's always refreshing when you're accompanied by friends and family.

I'm a major sports fan and like to try my hand at every sport even though am relatively good at very few. My favourite would be Football! One sport I love to watch and enjoy even more, playing it.

Music also plays a major role in my life, like it does to everyone's I suppose. I feel that music is the true essence of life and has the power to shape anyone's day based on the tenre you listen to. Even though I listen to a lot of music, I play very little to almost none! Though I've always wanted to learn the Saxophone.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not sure myself what I have to offer in terms of teaching and but I'm always open to learning!
Everyone has something to giveaway and always ready to learn something new and interesting.

I live my life an open book, and have lots of stories and past experiences to share, for those interested and when I welcome you into my home, or when one does the same for me, I'm not just sharing living space with them momentarily, but even my life.

I can offer you my awesome company! But apart from that, I'm a guy with simplistic needs, I don't expect a grandeur treatment, just a friendly face with a smile works wonders for me and I'm an absolute clean freak, so I'm at your home and you need something cleaned, worry not I'll probably do it for you, probably even if you ask me not to. :P

Apart from that, I don't believe in going to someone's house and staying as a guest, I go all in and integrate myself in the everyway while I'm there.

And if it's a leisure trip, the host is always more than welcome to join me on my trip wherever it may lead! :)
