Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed with a couple in London in November of 06, it was wonderful. London was amazing, had a few of the craziest adventures of my life.... and my hosts then recommended that I go from there to Edinburgh, where I stayed in hostels, before going to Cambridge to meet a friend.

Since then I have been to Michoacan, Mexico (July 07), although I didn't use couch surfing, I was visiting a dear friend working there for the summer. I went to Paracho, Uruapan, Zamora, and Las Pe{as.

Most recently I went back to England (Feb. 08) to visit my same friend in Ely, and stayed in a good B and B.

UPDATE: 6/29/08
last night I had my first hosting experience, and again it was a really interesting and enjoyable night. I put up a guy from Brazil for one night and showed him around a little.

stefanie (germany) came to stay with us for five days, we had a great time. We miss Stefie!

UPDATE 10/17/08
our first american Surfer, Alisa, stayed with me and joe for 3 nights; it was fun going out really late on weeknights, i needed to clear some space in my head. Last surfer at this location, we are both moving Nov. 1.

UPDATE 8/8/09. Only had one occasion of hosting at my west-town apartment, a couple from Portland, OR. I thought they were coming to see Lolla, but they came to my show with Joe Messing instead. BONUS!!

i've played in about 15 different bands over the years, including a few jazz groups and original rock groups, and a couple orchestras.
