HI THERE ALL YOU COUCH SURFERS WHO ARE IN AUCKLAND THIS WEEKEND! RICH & I (CLAIRE) ARE GOING TO BE IN AUCKLAND THIS WEEKEND FOR AN AVATAR COURSE (A COURSE ABOUT INCREASING THE AMOUNT OF COMPASSION IN THE WORLD AND LEARNING TO LIVE DELIBERATELY). IF ANYONE IS KEEN TO CATCH UP FOR A COFFEE THEN GIVE US A BUZZ ON EITHER 021 754 084 OR 021 987 072.

Hi!

We were referred to Couch Surfing through a good friend of ours who has had an amazing experience being part of the Couch Surfing community, given that we love meeting new people we knew that this would be a great way to do so!

We live in a beach / surf town called Mount Maungnaui in the sunny Bay of Plenty in the North Island of New Zealand. It is about 2 hours south of Auckland and at the gateway to the Coromandel Peninsula.

We have family in Central Otago in the South Island where mountains and lakes dominate the landscape so we get to experience the best of both worlds!

I (Richard) work for my self in property and my partner Claire is a Nurse. We also help teach Avatar - a course about learning to live deliberately - in New Zealand, Australia and the USA.

Interests

Creating an enlightened planetary civilisation through compassion, honesty and integrity - where we get to connect with other people on a real and honest level.

We are both very passionate about the snow and get to the mountains every winter to go skiing.

Richard enjoys surfing - which is why we live so close to the beach!

Claire enjoys running.

And of course we enjoy meeting new people!
