ABOUT ME

I just moved to Tel Aviv in July of 2012. I'm having a blast and trying to get the best of the opportunities that have been given to me.

I've lived all over the US but this is the first time I've moved abroad and it's been great.

PHILOSOPHY

To meet new friends and try to effect other people's lives in positive ways. My relationships with my friends, family, and the new people I meet make me who I am. I thrive on learning about people and talking to them.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think it'd be fun and nice to host people who may come and visit this city. It would give me a chance to meet interesting people and also explore the city more with someone. And now that I know much more about the city. I've gotten to know it pretty well so far but I feel like there's so much more to learn and see.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted tons of people back in St Louis before I moved to Tel Aviv, but I've also started here as well. I've had one of the most wonderful times on my first and only surfing experiences in Chicago and I can't to do some more.

Interests

I love listening to all kinds of music(synth pop, hip hop, indie rock, regular rock, the list goes on) as well as making it with my trombone, photography(candid, landscape, photo journalistic), sports(volleyball, snowboarding, kickball, etc) and anything else that you can convince me is interesting

Music, Movies, and Books

I will watch, read, listen to anything at least one time just to see if I like it. But I do like lots of sci-fi/fantasy books and just science books in general(I'm a nerd). I love the movies that are mind expanding as well as blockbusters. They're all good fun.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently have seen the sun set in the Grand Canyon.
I've hiked Angels Landing in Zion Nation Park.
Driven across the US multiple times.
Experienced Mardi Gras in New Orleans.
Ran Warrior Dash in Chicago and Chicago
Almost went to the Alien Museum in Roswell, but got there 3 minutes after closing.
Swam in the Bottomless Lakes
Snowboarded in 7 different states and 2 different countries.
Performed at Carnegie Hall (high school)
Watched game 5 of the 2004 ALCS at Fenway Park.
Moved to Tel Aviv.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm an engineer, its one of the things that define me most I think. I love to build and work on things hands on. However, I love to learn about things that I would usually know nothing about so please teach me!
