ABOUT ME
I am a 24 yr old German who is currently studying Education science and aims to do a masters of Outdoor Education once finished my bachelors degree. I am an easy going, fun and active person who loves too meet new people and have a strong desire to experience new cultures and destinations around the world. I love to travel and explore. I have travelled alot through Europe, went to Bolivia as a teenager and spent a year after school travelling through Canada and living in Whistler a ski resort an hr north of Vancouver. I am really enjoying being outside and I enjoy camping, hiking, snowboarding and rock climbing and also cooking. Whilst living in North America I also travelled through the USA. After returning to Germany I felt my 1 year abroad opened my eyes so much wider to the world and its beauty so I worked and saved for my next trip where I spent 3 months back packing through Australia and New Zealand. I am currently living and studying in Marburg Germany and am happy to have visitors :-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I used cs on my travels across Canada, USA and made many great experiences. Meeting new people is awesome and everyone comes with their own energy and good vibes and stories of their travels and that appeals to me about couch surfing and the fact that people are so open minded around the world to be so friendly to allow you in their homes is just beautiful.
Interests
I am interested in many things, history, poetry and plants are some of them. I love to be outside enjoying nature, go swim, hike and climb. I can be a super relaxed person, sitting in the sun, reading a book or listening to music. My two big passions besides travelling are photography and cooking. I often invite my friends over for dinner parties and game nights.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to many kinds of music but in particular I'd say alternative rock/pop and different singer song writers (Ben Howard n Passenger) are my favourite. My favorite book is "The Shadow Of The Wind" by the spanish writer carlos ruiz zafon, amazing book!!!!
I enjoy watching good movies and I watch many. My three favourite are Patch Adams, Into the wild and Madame Mallory.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think leaving home by myself, for the first time, to go travel around Canada for a year - for me- was one of the most exciting things I've ever done. Being on your own in a country you don't know and you don't speak the language to well was scary. But living in this new place, meeting different poeple every day and learning with and from them was incredible and gave me the self-confidence of the traveller I am today.
Teach, Learn, Share
There are many things people can learn from each other. So far I can offer you my cooking skills, we can go on photography trips together and explore cool places and I can help you to learn german or english. I just started to learn spanish and I am looking forward to get some practice in it :)
I do think that most of the things we can learn from each other happen in interaction so I am looking forward to meeting you!
